Safety Matters

Ensuring Playground Safety

EN1176 is a comprehensive European standard that outlines safety requirements for playground equipment and surfacing, this standard is designed to minimise potential hazards, reduce the risk of accidents, and ensure that playgrounds provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children.

Every child deserves a safe and secure play environment. Adhering to EN1176 standards is not just best practice, it's a moral commitment. Safety extends beyond compliance – it's an integral part of creating secure spaces for children to play. Our unwavering commitment to safety reflects our dedication to fostering enjoyment and the well-being of the communities we serve.

Installation

Our installers adhere to stringent industry standards throughout the installation process, guaranteeing that every playground is meticulously set up to meet the highest safety and quality criteria. At Four Acres our expertise goes beyond technical proficiency; it extends to a deep understanding of safety protocols, delivering installations that meet and exceed industry standards. Our competent installers take pride in their work, providing  solutions that prioritise both safety and quality.

Safety and Compliance

Risk Assessments and Method Statements

We conduct detailed risk assessments and method statements for each playground project. Our team analyses potential hazards and outlines a systematic approach to address and mitigate risks associated with the installation process. This proactive planning ensures that every step is thoughtfully considered, providing a thorough roadmap for our installers.

CRB Compliance

All our installers undergo CRB checks, ensuring that each member of our team meets the necessary requirements to ensure the safety and security of the schools and parishes we serve.

Post Installation Inspections

We conduct thorough post-installation inspections to verify that the installation meets all safety criteria outlined in EN1176. Inspections are carried out by certified professionals with expertise in playground safety and compliance.

"We have worked with Four Acres of Play for a number of years keeping our adventure play and outdoor gym equipment in good working order and ensuring that it all meets the appropriate standards. They have always been very responsive to our requests for support and very professional in their work. Very importantly, they are very honest with us and give good advice on how to resolve any new issues. We could not ask for a better team to help us keep our Recreation Ground safe and in use throughout the year."
