Our Values

Prioritise ecological consciousness to create play spaces that embrace both children and nature.

Four Acres of Green
Embark on a greener journey with our "Four Acres of Green Initiative" where every project becomes a step towards sustainability. Offset at least 20 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually as we meticulously weave eco-conscious practices into our designs and installations. Join us in nurturing our green and pleasant land, because from little acorns, we grow a forest of positive change. Together, let's cultivate a playground of possibilities for a brighter, greener future!
How We Strive for Better
Sustainable Timber Commitment
We are dedicated to the use of FSC registered sustainably sourced timbers wherever possible. Additionally, we prioritise sourcing timbers from UK suppliers to minimize our carbon footprint.
Green Growth Initiative
For each new school play area installation, Four Acres contributes by donating a juvenile UK native tree or fruit tree. These trees, while enhancing your chosen space, also serve as natural carbon dioxide traps, with one tree typically sequestering 3.7 tonnes of CO2 during its lifetime.
Seed for the Future Program
We believe in nurturing green spaces, which is why we provide free seeds every time we install raised beds or garden plots. This simple gesture empowers you to create your mini meadow or vegetable patch, promoting nature and maintaining the lush greenery of our schools.
"Children get a pretty raw deal, what do we give them in our great cities and towns, we give them an asphalt playground with a few pieces of mechanical equipment and there they are expected to live their adolescent lives swinging backwards and forwards, it’s not good enough"
